Drinks At Percies - the early wrap
Well we had a decent roll up somewhere between 25 and 30 blokes - some notable absences (Noble, Wyllie?) and a bloody good time. After a few minutes the years literally rolled away. It was amazing to see how so much had changed and so much had stayed the same. For many some demons were exorcised, for others just a few beers were sunk. Bobby Weiss dropped in for a visit. memories began to flow just like the Tooheys New.
Ben Brown summed it for me in one of many great soliloquies (I hope he remembers it cos it was after many bevvies) - "You guys knew me before I put on the heirs and graces of being an adult, before i decided who i would be and presented myself to the world. In some ways you know me more than anybody I meet in my life today ever can". then he started on about going to the Iron Maiden concert in '85 and sinking lots of tins with headbangers but it was all very profound.

Noble - always practical
Nicholas Noble - always the pragmatist with a clear set of priorities. This photo is a case in point - snapped at a small trout fishing farm near Innsbruck, Austria circa 1992 - it clearly shows a man in his prime, able to keep his hands warm, sink a lager and have a sensitive touch on the fishing line all at the same time.

North Sydney Old Boys victorious
Just in is this great shot from Ben Teh of the winning team (minus yours truly) in the annual NSBHS vs Aloysius cricket grudge match. After a couple of losses in previous years the last battle was a banquet of bat and ball with NSBHS levelling the overall series 3 all.
Ring in Roger steadied the batting and brought home an allround team performance with 2 balls to spare. Will make sure we let everyone know when the next one is on so you can come and cheer the Falcon.

Mike Lee in Chamonix
Geoff Webster has obliged to keep the photo array going with this excellent shot of Mike Lee in Chamonix, obviously enjoying the view and airing his nethers after a long day on the slopes. Just a pity Nick Noble was not on hand with the tackle scoop so he could weigh in.
I have added some slight artwork in the name of common decency. Unedited originals can be requested from Geoff for a small fee.

Geoff "The professor" Webster on his London tour
After the posting of the photos of himself and Mike Lee, Phil Boas was worried that Webbo might be feeling left out so kindly offered up this excellent shot of The professor - "three sheets to the wind" on a visit to london a couple of years back. Looks like he may be in his undies but I can't be sure - there is definitely a lot of leg showing.
Let me be clear - i want to absolutely encourage the sending through of these kind of embarrassing photographs and even anecdotes of your other NSBHS counterparts, so keep em coming.
